I hoped some one can share with me which object/ method that can give me the following scenario : (in notes client mode).
I click button “create” in view reports, it will pop up a dialogues box with list of choices, for me to pick which month I want, it will than export them to excel.
I just need the guidelines, on which script that actually will allow such a dialgues list with check box button, and how after i select,it will select the relevant month expenses (total at month level, but view is available up to transaction level).

Jan
Feb
Mar
After I select, it will export to MS Excel, by selecting from the view, the relevant month, which is categorised.
The export will only pick up the relevant month’s data
There is no built-in popup that does that, however… there is a simple way to get what you want too.
Checkout dialogbox within designer help. A dialog box can popup and show whatever you like… checkboxes are fine. You design a dialogbox just as you would a form without an Actionbar. The fields you include must exist within your form… (but they don’t have to be visible… so no one will know you needed to add any fields)
Here is a scenario: you display an instruction page and they are presented with a button… when they press it, you open the dialogbox and they complete the field(s) and press OK (dialog box closes automatically… that’s cool) then they are back to the instruction page so you need to include a bit more code so after the dialogbox closes you run the agent with the values which are stored within the instructions page… get it from the uidoc.
