I wish it could be possible to pin the bookmarks in tha standrd client (eclipse based). n the basic client, it is still possible, but this is sorely missing from the standard interface … unless it is there and I missed it?
Subject: You can “Dock” the open list, but not pin the sub-folders…
Hi,If you right-click on the Open button, you can choose to “Dock the Open List” and this gives you something akin to the bookmark bar.
But you cannot pin the subitems the way you could prior to Notes 8.
We wanted to allow you to take any folder from the bookmark bar and either float the items in a floating toolbar, or make a toolbar out of them-- we just have never been able to fit that into a release cycle yet.
I realize that the following suggestion does not meet your complete request, but many of our users have found that the “type to find” feature is so easy to use that they simply use that to find bookmarks and open them.

given that it is planned, would it be possible to add the selection of replica (local, server1, etc)? This was available on workspace and went away with bookmarks.This would save trips to the file-application-open territory that we often happen to do just to make sure we are accessing a given replica …
