@picklist is to display data from views, or the N&A book etc.Check out the Notes Designer Help.
Displays a modal window that contains either:
A view you specify from which the user can select one or more documents. @PickList returns a column value from the selected document(s).
A dialog box, displaying information from all available Domino Directories. The user can select one or more person, group, server, room, or resource names, and @PickList returns those names.
Syntax
@PickList( [CUSTOM] : [SINGLE] ; server : file ; view ; title ; prompt ; column ; categoryname )
@PickList( [NAME] : [SINGLE] )
@PickList( [ROOM] )
@PickList( [RESOURCE] )
@PickList( [FOLDERS] : [SINGLE] ; server:database )
@PickList( [FOLDERS] : [SHARED] ; server:database )

I think your best bet is to write a lotus script (QueryOpen or PostOpen of the form) to get the data using ‘List’ and update a hidden field and refresh. Now use this hidden field as formula in your ListBox field.

hi Narasimhan Nallani,
i am working on web application, therefore i will have to use webqueryopen but will it able to resolve my 64k limit problem? can you explain this in detail?
Subject: RE: @Picklist
Yes. Definitely. Write an agnet in webqueryopen instead of queryopen. Use ‘List’ in your lotus script. Get the data into it and then Update the hidden multivalue field using ‘document context’ instead of uidoc. Use this hidden field as formulae for your list field which should solve your problem.
Subject: RE: @Picklist
Using script (list data type) and populating a field will not help get around the 64K limitation - @picklist would be the way to go.
