To demonstrate the feasibility of migrating the existing Lotus Notes ver 4.6 applications to the web while providing as much as possible user functionalities on the browser. Please respond at the earliest.
Following are the key challenges that have been identified and need inputs for the same.

The project needs to demonstrate that it can use Rich Text scripts. (The users are business users who are used to Lotus Notes Client and would like to have the Rich Text Capabilities same on the Browser) - Please highlight what are the features not possible and if there is any work around or ready utilities to help achieve these functionalities.

The project needs to be able to demonstrate - In line attachments.
(Like in Notes Client Rich Text Field, we can have attachment any where in the middle of text within the RTF, while on the browser we can have only upload control)
- While doing the pick list from the system it can do the following:
a. In case it is a category is chosen then only the relevant subcategories will be displayed in the text box for picking up.
The data is much beyond the 64 K limitation rather it would be in MB.
b. In case we have to choose the team members then we need to be able to list all the names and address book details in the relevant location on the web page. Also we need to provide for type ahead feature etc…
The PAB has 15000 users listed.
c. In case we need to get a simple list then we need to be able to pick this up from the relevant database of the system and display the same.
