Is there anyway to have when the @PickList dialogbox appears, have default values selected, like prompt…
I use a pick list for users to select multiple values from a view. Later, if they want to modify, they click the button bringing up the picklist dialogbox again… and they have reselect all the values previously selected, and any new ones…
Sometimes, my users are selecting like 500 values from the picklist dialogbox.
What I would like, is when represented the dialogbox, the choices previously selected would be selected in the picklist view. The user could then deselect the undesired values, or select additional values…
Just wondering if such functionality is possible.
Subject: @Picklist functionality
I did this using a button, a view, a dialogbox form and a dbcolumn to populate a listbox field on the dialogbox form.
view: responsibility
The button on the main form called the dialog box which openened the dialog form with the Listbox field
The Listbox field was editable and multi-value was checked. It was populated with “use formula for choices” and the following formula
@DbColumn(“”;“”:“”;“Responsibility”;1)
The field on the main form passed the existing values into the dialog box as checked items.
Users could select additional items or deselect existing values

That would be great. Just that I can’t use a @Dbcolumn as it exceedes the 64k limitation…
I was using the Picklist functionality so that I could have a view displayed…
and the user pick from there…
Thanks for your kind response however and for taking the time to respond.
