Personal Mail foders

I am currently trying to export a users personal mail folders to another users as the first user has left our company.Is this possible?

Excuse my naivety but I’m relativley new to Lotus Notes and cant seem to find anyway of doing it.

I don’t think there’s an easy way to do this. I’ve done this quite a few times for people in my organization, and this is how I do it.

  1. I yell at them and tell them how much time it’s going to take me, and I could be doing better things.

  2. After that, I create an agent in the old person’s mail file that copies mail into the new person’s mail file.

  3. Before I copy any mail, I make sure all the mail in the new person’s mail file is read.

  4. I open a folder on the old person’s mail file, select all the mail in that folder and call my agent to copy.

  5. In the new person’s mail file, I create the folder where I want this mail. I then go to the ALL DOC view, and select the button to only show me unread mail.

  6. Wallah, I only see the stuff I just brought over from the old mail. Then I just hilight everything and copy it into the folder I created.

  7. I then do Edit - Unread Marks - Mark all read, so I can identify the next folder of stuff I bring over.

Run through steps 4-7 for each folder you want to bring over.
