Personal folders are not updated

Hello all

Recently we upgraded the server as well as the clients from R5 to R6.

As the design of the personal mail database hasn’t been upgraded automatically, I forced them manually by doing:

File/Database/Replace Design and then select the standard mail template R6. It works fine for the default views (inbox, sent, etc.). However, the view in the folders that the client created themselves isn’t updated.

I tried Actions/Update folder design. No solution, unfortunately.

What is the right way to upgrade the design of the clients mail databases ?

The easiest way would have been to run the Convert task on the server console:

Example:

load convert -u mail*.nsf * mail6.ntf

This command will convert all databases in the mail subfolder to the mail6.ntf template and upgrade all custom folders to the Inbox design.
