Hello,We are version 651 client and 651 Domino server.
The personal address book for each user has the new design, but the ods is still 20. Is that a problem? I have compacted and still the ods is 20. I have also replaced the design with the pernames.ntf which says its ods is 43.

if the server did not update the public names.nsf during the upgrade, then the only way it can be upgraded to ods 43 is usually offline. Stop the server
From an OS command change to the Domino install directory (ex. C:\Lotus\Domino)
run ncompact datadrive:\notesdatadir\names.nsf
(ex: ncompact.exe C:\lotus\domino\data\names.nsf)
If the users’ personal address books are on the server, you should be able to upgrade them while the server is running. At the server console
first flush the db cache, then compact everything. This may take awhile.
dbcache flush
load compact -Y -D
(for additonal parameters do ncompact -?)
If the names.nsf is on a client machine, exit from the client, and run ncompact as above.

Thank you for your response.The users names.nsf is on the local pc.
I exited Notes, ran a ncompact and it did change the ods to 43 and fixed the problem.
Although I am now noticing many of our clients local address books is still ods 20. That would be pretty time consuming to do on all clients.
