Hi Friends,Can we give permission to the usr to run only out of office agent.The user should run only out of agent not any other agent. Pl guide me how to do it.

You can set the users’ access level in ACL to their mail files to ‘editor’. When user enable Out of Office agent, it enables it on behalf of them but it is actually run by someone else (Lotus Notes Template Development). The users do not need to be given access to run restricted LotusScript agents, so they can be restricted from those operations and the simple action/formula agent operations.

But user will not be able to perform some other task on his mail box. If the user need not to give accecc to run restricted lotus script agents and the out of office agent is run by Lotus Notes Template Development then why the user’s access in his mail box to be changed to editor.

Sorry for the late response Deepak, but if we give the user manager access, user will be able to run other private agents as well, which is not required in your case.
