We have a Sun/Sparc, 4 CPU 800 Mhz and 4 gb ram, 120 GB disk. Solaris 9 with i domino 6.5 the acting it is horrible. Can anybody help me?

we installed two brandnew solaris boxes running solaris 9 without any users on it… (starting to implement a new domain) and the machines were teribly slow… we did some tests and after disabling transaction log the boxes came back to normal behaviour. so it seems translog is the problem…
the call is open till 7 weeks and no satisfying response yet…
how about you are you using translog?
