When ever my network link fails, I can see many mails pending for internet domains, this happens everytime, and the once the link is up the mail routing does not happen automatice, either we have to restart router or have to force the mail routing by ROUTE. Any idea to overcome this issue…
Subject: timing issue
When the router cannot make a connection, it initially waits 15 minutes to retry. For every retry after that, double the time, until the message reaches the configured time-out age.
If you waited long enough, I believe the messages would eventually route. However, restarting the router task is a valid way to make them retry immediately.
