Pasting the word “Ångstrøm” into a Notes email draft gets me “ngstrm” instead. Pasting “Señorita” produces “Seorita”. I haven’t tried other characters.
Typing these same characters works correctly.

Subject: I’m not seeing this in the most recent version
I copied Ångström from this website - Angstrom - Wikipedia.
Please recheck this in the next Beta that’s posted and let me know if it still exists. We fixed a similar copy/paste issue with extended characters recently.

Subject: This is not reproduced in recent dailybuild
This is NOT reproduced in recent dailybuild. Copy&paste globalization support issues are fixed after Public Beta 1.
Subject: Maybe it’s a Firefox problem
Pasting the same text from Safari works correctly, even preserving font size, color, and underlining. It was only pasting from Firefox that failed.
Subject: What happens if you paste from other programs?
What if you copy from MS Word or an OpenDocument format?
Subject: More data points
Pasting from Pages into Notes works properly, also pasting from Open Office 3.0 beta 2 (Aqua) into Notes.
Pasting from Firefox into Pages or Open Office also works. It’s only going straight from Firefox to Notes that loses the text attributes and non-ASCII characters.
