Hello folks,

We have a situation whereas we have some mixed users. Those with Notes Clients (5 users) and those without (300 users). My question is: Is it possible to enable/enforce internet password settings for both these users, specifically my web users who do not have clients? Specifically, we were looking at enforcing password interval, grace periods, history and quality values.

Any help would be appreciated?

Thanks for the response, but the question is: will these settings be enforceable given the users do not have Notes Clients, thus no ids. That’s really our underlying issue. Too date, we have not been able to get it working…could be settings though.

There is a choice “Enforce Password experation” and one of the choices is Internet only- the issue is that the policy has to be applied to users correctly.

Thanks again for your response, but we’re still having issues over here. We are running 7.0.2 on Win2K3 and have abled policies for our users and have tried to test, unfortunately with no success. The only thing that we’ve been able to enforce is having our users change their passwords on 1st logon, but everything else (password change interval, password quality, grace period, etc.) so far we have not be able to enforce.

My question is: Are these settings restricted to the notes.id file? So if I have users who do not have ids, will I be able to enforce these policies.
