Sounds like you’ve got single client logon enabled on your Notes client. Nothing to do with the server docs as far as I was aware. Although I think there is something in Domino which can authenticate you against Active Directory and check your password that way.

How do I disable single client logon?
Thanks
Subject: RE: Password
File > Security > User Security
then uncheck the ‘Login to Notes using your operating system login’ box

I suppose you could look in the help if it’s not too much trouble for you?

I dont get you people that always post “take a look at the help”!
This forums purpose should be to quickly help people, this is help!
Allthough it seems that users who are new into Lotus ask stupid questions(me to) they dont do it for fun!
Thanks to all members that are trying to help!

Just trying to teach you a valuable technique which will serve you well if you want to be a professional programmer.
The Notes forum is a very good forum with lots of good information and helpful people. But one day you might be developing for a product which doesn’t have such a helpful community and then what will you do?
On a more practical level searching the help takes but a few seconds and will give you technical information of the highest quality written by Lotus themselves.
Posting your question and waiting for an answer took about 20 minutes, right?
Surely it’s simple common sense to search the help first?

I disagree. The forum is here to help people who cannot help themselves. Most people here are willing to help with even the simplest of questions, even if they’ve been answered before, as long as it doesn’t become habit. Heck, even the savviest of admins and developers sometimes forget the easiest of solutions. But when your name starts appearing frequently in the forum and the questions being answered can be found simply by taking a few moments to search (notes help, technotes, [here]) for answers your name will slowly lose merit and folks will stop responding to you.
