I’m currently evaluating MIIS 2003, to do Password Synchronization. I know it can do http password resets, however does anyone know if it can synch active directory passwords, with Lotus Notes ID Files?

Hi,
There is no answer on M$ website? It seems to be a big product.

JYR, are you trying to be sarcastic? Fact that he is asking about MIIS is not a big part of this question (issue) the real truth is that Notes is BIG PAIN when it gets to authentication for a companies trying to accomplish SSO across multiple platforms, company I’m working for is facing same issue and we are not using MIIS, so if I take a M$ out of this picture and ask you “…does anyone know if it can synch active directory passwords, with Lotus Notes ID Files using Tivoli Directory Integrator? “ is it still funny? problem with Notes ID is that it does not integrate with anything else, and although I’ve been working as notes admin (one of many hats) for last 4 years I’m still do not buying all this “security crap” and I think this is cumbersome process of maintaining synch between notes IDs, http and other system passwords mainly because how notes does it, or I should say how notes doesn’t do it, perhaps that’s why no one has answer to question I posted while ago

Hi,
don’t want to be sarcastic but look at the post:

The question is about a feature( if it can synch active directory passwords, with Lotus Notes ID Files? ) of a non-IBM product(MIIS). So, the point is look with the Microsoft vendor. I hope THEY know what their product can do.
Do a search on “MIIS” , you will find few posts.
