Password Policy

Dear all,

Please note that password policy has been implemented explicitly to users.

One user has changed password after expiry but the next day when the user tries to log in, the new password fails to authenticate to the mail server while the old password works fine. This is a serious security breach.

If anyone know the reason as to why the new password fails and the old password is successful, kindly help me out.

Do you have a cluster server set up? This could be the issue, i.e. not replicating correctly!

Also check the location document for the user to make sure that they are looking at their home server.

Also make sure that the Administration server for the mail file has been set and no errors have arisen in AdminP
