We created Profiles for our users with 90-day password expiration. 90 days has come and gone and nobody’s password expired. When we created the users, the password expiration “terms” did not show on the person records and we were assured that it would work, even though it didn’t show. However, that didn’t happen. Any ideas? The Domino server is Windows 2003. Our users have 95 and 98.
Subject: Password Expiration Didn’t Work?
The simplest possibility is that you haven’t fully enabled password checking. Password checking has to be enabled in both the server and person docs, and thereafter, whenever a person whose doc is enabled authenticates with a server whose doc is enabled, the password will be checked.
