Password Dialog box (java class)

We made an standalone java program that will update notes database and send document, And we Attach the java to our oracle forms program.

In my development desktop the java program works perfectly. The oracle execute the java class and the Password Dialog box always show asking for password and thats what we want it to be.

BUT after we deploy the java class to production client , When the oracle forms execute java class, the Password Dialog box didnt show instead it prompt for password inside MSDOS (cmd).

Did we miss some jar files???

Off the top of my head…

The production client has a Notes Client installed?

Which Notes.jar files have you deployed?

What if any OS Path / Classpath settings do you have in development and production?

Does the development server have DIIOP enabled?

Hi!

  1. Yes, the production client has a notes client installed same as the version(6.5) we use in our development client.

  2. We used the Notes.jar file in development.

  3. This is what we set in our classpath and OS Path.

classpath = .;c:\psion_joborder\jar\Notes.jar;

              c:\c:\psion_joborder\jar\ojdbc14.jar

Path = c:\Program Files\lotus\notes;…

  1. Yes it has DIIOP enabled.

Thanks, Allen…
