Some of our users are unable to connect to the server even typing the ip address in the file open dialog boxes… either an hourglass or an error message saying…‘you are not authorized to connect to this server using passthru server’
What is the problem?

is there any pass thru connection documents in their local address book?

Check the Security tab of the passthru server and check that the user is listed by name or group in the “Route Through” field under the Passthru Access section. Then check the Security tab of the target server and make sure that the user is listed in the “Access this Server” field of the Passthru Access section.
