Subject: Technote

The technote seems to have been removed…maybe it was too funny

JYR

Subject: Neat one - that message should help get this fixed sooner…

sorry, can’t help on your problem

Subject: Run Off-line Maintenance…

First, make a backup of the Server’s Domino Directory (i.e. names.nsf) and then do the following with the Server shut-down:

  1. Run COMPACT with the “-i” and “-c” switches against “names.nsf”.

  2. Run FIXUP with the “-F” switch against “names.nsf”.

  3. Run UPDALL with the “-R” switch against “names.nsf”.

Example command: ncompact -c -i names.nsf
