Page Set-Up Mysteriously Changes From Default (Printing)

My company recently upgraded to the new Lotus Notes ND6.0.3 client. One of my customers is reporting a problem with printing documents from her mailbox that I’ve never seen before. Note - We use the standard Mail (R6) template.

Problem:

My customer has her default ‘Page Set-up’ as follows:

Paper Source = ‘Auto Select’

Other Pages = ‘Auto Select’

My customer is reporting that her ‘Page Set-up’ keeps mysteriously changing to:

Paper Source = ‘Tray 1’

Other Pages = ‘Tray 1’

I tried re-installing the client and print drivers. No luck. Problem continues. Any thoughts on why the Paper Source would automatically change?

We are experiencing the same problem with Notes 6.5 clients. Every now and then the setting changes to Tray1 instead of Auto. It can be changed back manually but it’s quite annoying since Tray 1 contains special paper.

Our printers are Canon, how about you? I’ve been searching for information about this problem for a while now but haven’t been able to find anything useful.
