"Overflow" Whenever I Open Certain Mail Databases

I have two mail databases, every time I open them, I get the error message “Overflow.” There does not seem to be any other negative effect. I have tried all of the following:

  • both the full and basic client

  • on Windows XP, Vista, and 7

  • on multiple different machines

  • with all mail templates from 8.0 to 8.5.1

  • with all client versions from 8.0 to 8.5.1

  • making a new copy of the mail database (Using File, Application, New Copy)

  • making the database available offline

  • running compact -d -c -i

  • running updall -R -X

  • running fixup

  • disabling and re-enabling transaction logging (issue started before transaction logging actually)

I can’t seem to get the message to go away. Anyone have any ideas?
