We want to configure some Outlook clients to access a Domino Server.
We can use POP3/SMTP, IMAP/SMTP or iNotes Access for Outlook.
When we use inotes Access for Outlook we can see the Domino’s Address Book. But with the others protocols, we can’t.
Is there a way to see the address book using POP3 or IMAP?. I think we can only use LDAP to search a known address, but we can’t see all the Address Book.
Another question is how we can configure the Outlook clients, to use only Local Mail. I mean, all the messages they receive don’t store in their Server’s mail database.
I think we can do it with POP3/SMTP but then we can’t see the Address Book.

I would suggest taking a look at Domino 6.5.1. iNotes for Outlook is greatly improved in this version. Instead of using a mish-mash of protocols, the Outlook user simply access all of their info - e-mail, calendar, contacts - through a local .PST file. A background process keeps that fine in synch with the corresponding Mail file on the Domino server.
I haven’t been able to try it, since we’re an Exchange shop, but it does sound promising.

I just found this out recently - it’s really not there yet. Domino Access for Outlook will be a separate download from Passport Advantage. It should be there any day now.
