Outlook recipients are unable to properly receive my meeting acceptance?

We regularly interact with another organization which uses Exchange/Outlook as their e-mail platform (sucks to be them!).

I have been performing many tests to ensure our systems are able to interact properly, especially for meeting invitations/replies. This is an extension of a topic I posted some time ago here…

I have everything working almost perfectly.

When I receive a meeting invitation from an Outlook user, all works perfectly in Lotus Notes (I am able to successfully accept or decline that invitation, and the meeting is added to my calendar).

However, when the Outlook user receives my acceptance, it takes the form of regular HTML with an irrelevant file attachment (NOT an ICS file).

IF I change my Location details so that the “Format of messages addressed to internet…” is set to Notes Rich Text, THEN it works great!

BUT, we cannot use that setting because we use an HTML signature on the bottom of or users’ messages.

Has anyone actually got this functionality working properly (without employing the use of a connector of some sort)?

I’d sure appreciate some assistance if you have!

Cheers!
