Outlook and Domino communication problem

We are on Domino 8.5 since mid 2009. We have the following problem with 1 other external company working with outlook:

  • external Company sends a mail from outlook

  • we reply with history (or forward, print etc): we now get the problem that this isn’t possible. The $keepprivate = 1 although we or the external company don’t send the mail with this intention. So somewhere in the communication with this company, Domino or the sending outlook server think this is a keepprivate mail.

We only have this problem with all users of 1 other company.

The external company uses an outlook mail archive and their standard setting on outlook is confidential (mails can only be read by themselves and their manager).

Does anyone have a tip to find out what causes this problem?

When an SMTP message is received with a Sensitivity header which contains either “Personal”, “Private” or “Company-Confidential”, the header is rewritten as Sensitivity: Private and the $KeepPrivate field is set to 1.
