Dear expert,
I am facting a problem, my user have to send out e-mail, which contain some bold, Italic or some colour text, however when they send to external mail address, all the bold, italic and colour text were missing, and all text turn to be plain text.
Does anyone know when I can set from the domino server, so that they can send these bold, italic, colour text … normally? As it is happening to all user, so I suppose it should have some wrong setting from domino admin.

what mail client is the recipient using? if their mail client cannot render the fonts or if they have their client set to receive plain text then the formatting will be lost.

Check the location document under Mail\ “Format for messages addressed to internet addresses” field. The user’s preference is probably set to “Notes Rich Text” instead of “MIME Format”. From Notes Help:
Format for messages addressed to Internet addresses
Select “Notes Rich Text Format” to allow all messages over the Internet to be sent as plain text. Select “MIME Format” to keep as much formatting as possible, depending on the recipient’s mail, when mailing to non-Notes users.
