Outgoing email address

I know this is probably obvious but that would explain why I can’t find it.

I have a location document set to use my personal email address for sending email which it sends through Domino (send outgoing mail is set to through Domino Server).

When I send email it arrives with the name before the @ symbol (which is an isp-defined account name) and not “Steve Thompson”.

I’ve played with RFC MIME setting, domain documents, a few other things that looked promising, but I can’t stop mails appearing to come from “BTREH1748”.

Can anyone point me to what I’m missing?

Subject: Outgoing email address

I had a similar problem recently, and used a counter-intuitive solution. In your server Global Domain document, under Conversions, select “Enabled” for the Internet address lookup option. This will take the internet address in the location document regardless of any other settings.
