Outbound SMTP Failover

Hi all,

in our Domino network we use Notes Routing to transfer outbound internet emails to our Domino SMTP gateway that finally transfers outbound emails to the destination servers in the internet. This is set up with a Foreign SMTP domain document in conjunction with a SMTP connection document.

In this scenario, is there a way to configure a failover for this Domino SMTP gateway for the case the primary gateway fails?

Subject: two ways to achieve

1 - manualy clear relay gateway field in configuration document, and open port 25 outside

2 - automaticaly it posible only on network gateway оr switches - assign ips of all gateways to one hostname and set that hostname as relay on domino server
