Outbound relay host with foreign SMTP domains

Not sure if this is possible…We have a fax server which requires a foreign smtp domain to handle fax routing. I also have in the “relay host for messages…” field in my server config doc to route any external internet email out thru a relay server in our DMZ, and then to the internet. Since I added this field, anytime docs for the fax server need to get processed they go from the mail server that does the processing, over to the relay server, and then back to that same originating mail server. Is there somewhere that I can make an exception so that messages sent to this fax domain go directly to the server they’re supposed to/stay on the server they’re supposed to instead of going to the relay server and back in again?

Thanks.

Subject: Outbound relay host with foreign SMTP domains

I’ve poked around online in the forums some more and haven’t been able to find a way to do this yet. If anyone could offer any advice it would be appreciated, our firewall is having issues right now and the messages are getting sent out to the relay servers but getting blocked from coming back in.Thanks.
