Outbound Files

Hello,

I’m in trouble… I have about one hundred mobile users that replicate their NSFs via Lotus Notes Replicator. They connects and replicates to company’s mail server with a very expensive 3G connection.

The problem is that this type of users can’t be filtered by some server rules, (for example, attachment size) and doing this they try to send a huge messages… I’d like to know if is possible to block mail if contains a attachment size > of a 10Mb directly from client.

Can someone help me?

TIA.

One option would be to:1) Open your Messaging Configuration Document

  1. Click on Router/SMTP - Restrictions and Controls - Restrictions

  2. Put a value in the field “Maximum message size”

  3. Restart the Router

HTH.

Thanks Gregg,

I’ve already set this option, but it seems that the users with replicator don’t obey to this setting…

What other could I do?

Bye,

Alex
