Started getting the message “Out of stack space” when looping through a view to update documents. I tried using an agent and tried doing it from a form…
Only answers found in forum was these two:
“You declared too many local variables in a procedure”
and
“The calling procedure never reaches its base case / state”
Dont mind this silly talk. My agent didnt apply to this mumbo jumo. After much troubleshooting i found out that Lotus Notes gives this error if you use a select case inside a loop (in this case a v.getnextdoc()-loop)
You have to use a
if then
elseif then
else
end if
…instead.
I hope this saves you a lot of trouble
