Hi,

How Can I change the default setting of Out Of Office of 6 hours ? I want to change 30 minutes, is possible? If it’s yes, what step-by-step?

Subject: Are You Using OOO Agent or Service?

If you aren’t sure, open the Configuration Document for the Domino Server & goto Router/SMTP->Advanced->Controls & review the value of the field labled “Out-of-Office type:”.

If using Out Of Office Agent:

If using Out Of Office Service:

  • There’s nothing to change, the Router Task sends out OOO notifications “immediately”. See the Lotus Administrator Help Database Topic “Designating the Out of Office service type” for more information.

What if it is set as Service and the Domino server is not sengind the message to senders with Out of Office message? What problem can be ?

Subject: Check the dates OOO service was enabled for

at the server console you can issue a commandtell router o

it will give you a list of mail files for which OOO service is enabled.

if that user’s mail file is liseted, then check the dates for which which OOO service was enabled.

Perhaps someone set the dates wrong?

if tell router o does not show you that user’s mail file, check the configuration on the HOME mail server of that user.

you can also check if the agent was enabled for that user by issueing

tell agmr sched at the server console

and then see if that user’s mail file is listed

hello, whenever I issue “tell router o” from the Domino console, it does not show any names of the user whos OOO is actived… Any idea? Because I’m trouble shooting one of our users on which her OOO is not working… I’m running Domino 8.5.1 FP2

Her LN client is 8.5.1 and also her design template. I already tried disabling/enabling the OOO but still not working…
