Out of Office

Greetings, I have 2 users who are having issues with their lotus notes out of office. When they enable the out of office and users email them it never returns an out of office response; I have made sure that the local agent has been enabled in lotus notes. Do you have any tips on how I can remedy this issue. Thx

by default, the OOO agent is scheduled. Do you see it listed in the console when you do a “Tell Amgr Schedule”?

If so, what happens when it runs? Do you get any errors in the logs? Is it set to run on the right server? Do the users have the correct rights?

I just resolved an issue like this. I had a user who has his OoO turned on but his OoO emails are never sent out. I look on the server “Tell Amgr Sched” and it didn’t show his OoO.

What I did and it resolved it was to update all the views in the database (Ctrl + Shift + F9). Once I updated them, I went into his OoO disabled it hit ok to get out of it and then went back in and re-enabled it. Worked like a charm.
