I have mutiple users who have enabled their OOO correctly, yet the summary report received when they return is completely blank. Considering many of these people have 100+ messages waiting for them, the report is obviously wrong.
Research tells me that the “Notified” field on the OOO Profile is where the sender names should be stored for the summary. By why isn’t this field being populated for some users? What is causing this issue?
This is a major problem, especially when many people are taking vacation this time of year.
Any help would really be appreciated.
Subject: Check replicas to make sure they are all in sync
Make sure all you replica copies of the users mail file our sync. Download NotesPeek (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24005686) to check each replicas OOO Profile documents. They should all contain the same data.

Subject: This can happen if OOO is enabled locally, and not replicated back to home server
Note that we have an SPR open for the fact that it’s possible to exit client without replicating local OOO state change back to server. But if this happens – if a user enables OOO in local replica, then exits client without replicating, OOO doesn’t get enabled on the server. Then if the user replicates after they return and OOO is enabled just before it expires, it won’t have responded to any incoming messages, and the summary report will reflect this.
Subject: Out of Office summary is blank
Thanks for all of your responses. I bet the users are no replincating to the server before exiting, thus causing the issue.
Subject: Do they also get…
Do they also get a good summary with all the info, and in addition the empty summary.Or is the empty summary is the only thing they get?
What is the time stamp of when the empty summary was generated?
