We use the OOS, as enabled on all of our mail servers. In some cases, both the service and the agent get enabled. Does anyone know why and is there any way to stop this from happening? When the user’s OOS gets disabled by the router upon return, the agent remains enabled and the user keeps getting the daily notification to disable their OOA, but when they go into the OOO profile it’s already disabled.

Subject: Re: OOO
I am sure you guys are running portal too which allows user to manage emails from web. When a user enables OOO from portal it activates the agent which has to be disabled manually from designer (agents)
Let me know the update
Subject: not applicable
users it’s happening to are not using iNotes.
Subject: out of office service used but agent is still enabled too
We saw that here, opened affected mail file in designer - sure enough Out of Office agent was enabled even though we had no visible indication via Notes client it was enabled. Disabled agent, verified with staff member (and via console command).
