I’ve got a user who works within a client’s environment. She uses the Social Edition of Notes with an email account within the client’s domain, but interacts with staff from our organisation daily and has an email account within our domain that is set to forward all messages to the external account. The user is a member of several email groups on our company mail server.
The user has reported that if she enables her out of office auto-responder in Notes, that several out of office messages are sent (without an incoming trigger email) to the three or four groups. Because of this she is reluctant to use her out of office.
I could try talking to the other organisation, but that are large and our attempts at holding effective and meaningful dialogue with their IT people in the past have been somewhat painful.
