We use Lotus Notes and have been encountering an issue with the “Out Of Office” Client populating in SFDC Chatter. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
The issue is that every time someone uses an “Out of Office” Notification, the client will generate a response in Chatter every time that the user receives a post / comment. In the Out of Office Client, there is an option to avoid auto-replies to mail from email addresses, but this is not the answer if the user is in a support role, and therefore needs to respond to messages from email addresses. There are 2 exceptions rules enabled by Lotus:
-
Exclude sending OO Notification to certain individuals (I tried to exclude reply@chatter.salesforce.com and noreply@chatter.salesforce.com)
-
Exclude sending OO Notification when an exact phrase is in the subject matches (Tried phrases like “In a Post”, “On Chatter”, etc.)
Has anyone had any luck with any exception rules or have any suggestions?
Thank you!
Matt
