We’re in a pilot phase with 8.0.1 LN client on a 8.0.1 Domino server.One of my users has a 2-3 days delay on his “Out of office” feature. Not aware of anyone else having the same issue.
We’ve had a similar problem on release 7.0.1, turning on the “Out of office” wouldn’t work at all from the LN client, so we suggested users to turn it on from the browser and it worked.
I just found out that the reason could have been the fact that we have local replica mail files.
I recall reading the delay is somehow determined by the server. I think this should be configurable by the administrator…I am not aware of any way to change it.
Thank you Rich for your link.However, I discovered that, when enabled, in release 8.0.1 the OOO agent is scheduled to run every 6 hrs and not every 1 hour as it was in r 7.0.2 .
So, I will have to modify the Mail8.ntf template.
As a suggestion, it might have been more useful to set the agent “After new mail has arrived”. I think it makes more sense.
