my LN users (Top Management) are fed-up with receiving Out-Of-Office messages from user(s) they send out email to. Is there a setting on user’s Client or Mail Server to set user’s Delivery Option DEFAULTed to “Delivery Report” = NONE and select “Do not notify me if recipient(s) is running Out Of Office”. As such they do not need to purposely set these delivery option setting everytime they send out an email to user(s).

ThomasBearing in mind that out of office is just an email and that some users edit their messages, it would not be so easy to just trun off that sort of mail. However a simple solution is to set up a filter to send to trash any incoming mail that contains ‘Out Of Office’.
If there are a large number of execs and others who need this then you could set up an action and role it out to eveyone … those who want it just click it without having to set up a rule themselves. Don’t forget to allow them to disable it as well.

Subject: actually, there is a new way to do this in ND6
if you go into delivery option in a new memo, there is a check box called ‘Do not notify me if receipient(s) are running out of office’
