Out of Office changes Notes 8.5

Currently upgrading clients to 8.5.1. User is part of a distribution group that receives a large amount of e-mail. Turned on out of office but there is no option to exclude replies to messages sent to group. Every e-mail to the group got an out-of-office from the person.

Older versions of the Notes client had an option “exceptions” and “do not automatically reply to mail which is addressed to these groups”

How do I do this in 8.5?

Subject: OOO responses can be suppressed from the sender’s side…

OOO UI’s option to exclude processing of mail sent to specific groups was removed in R8.0.1 (it hadn’t ever actually worked correctly). But senders of messages to large groups can still click Delivery Options and use the ‘Do not notify me if recipients are running Out of Office’ option.
