Out of Office Agent only respons to email from internet and not to internal users

We have a very strange situation:

The Out of Office agent only responds to mail send from an internet address. Local domain Lotus Notes users don’t get any respons.

We are running 6.5.1 Dutch on Linux.

Please give us some advice!
