OU changed, now slow

We have changed out OU using the rename move to new certifier and adminp. The process, while not without its bumps, seems to work OK. This is the third time we have done this in 13 years.

My issue is now everything is SLOW. From opening the client to opening mail. This is not an imainary thing, it is painfully slow/different from what it was just 4-5 days ago.

This happens on 8.01 servers, 8.51 FP3 and all flavors of clients, basic and standard.

A search only pulled one hit, which went unanswered (from 2005).

I believe there is a known problem with mail files taking a long time to open after a name change or move user in hierarchy. See technote 1115338 for more information.

Signing the mail file with the mail server’s ID is supposed to fix the problem.
