The abovementioned SPR was related to the fact that the private beta of Mac 8.5 client did not have a not have an “export view to CSV” option.
In public beta, the option is there. However in limited testing (once - you’ll see why) it fails.
Once an output file name was chosen, the usual options dialog box appeared. However, I could select multiple radio buttons, and the Cancel button did nothing. The dialog would not go away, and since it had focus that means the client was stuck. Even a Force Quit failed to do anything. So, the only option was to turn off the power.
