HiMy Notes just keeps on runing and has done so fo rat least day. I wanted to check my id and choose File->Security…->>User Security… when the window disappeared and I lost control of Notes left only with the app menu in bar.

To providing the sample log, you need launch activity monitor, select Notes process, click Sample Process button, and save and attachment the log here.
