A long time ago there was a conversation about orphaned agent data notes and using an unsupported tool called compagnt to get rid of them (http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/55c38d716d632d9b8525689b005ba1c0/bef8b22e4c506b52c3256d7a006e63f8?OpenDocument&ExpandSection=-1#_Section1)
I had forgotten all about it until I started having weird problems in a database and something jogged my memory. The database in question is on a Domino 7.02 server, it had lots of orphaned data notes, and deleting them yielded a noticeable performance improvement and cleared up some other weirdness.
Does anyone have a cross-platform solution to this problem? Some people in the previous thread mentioned using DXL to delete them, but before I go that route I wanted to see if anyone had already done the work. I’m running Domino on Windows, Linux and iSeries so compagnt is of limited use to me.
Thanks,
Charles
