I have a user whose mail template specifies iNotes5 as the template. Built new, and have tried refreshing & replacing… the problem is… when she goes to open mail from browser, the browser opens her mail using the ‘Webmail’ UI instead of the iNotes UI.
The ending of the URL looks like this:
/kneitz.nsf?OpenDatabase&ui=webmail
and if i remove the &ui=webmail portion, it then opens using the iNotes ui.
How can I change this? what is wrong?

We use the dominomail database that does the redirecting for the user signing in, that it gives you a place to change the option to the format that you want to enter. Not that you want to add another layer on it. But in the case that this happened to our user, this made it easy for us to switch it. Do a search for domino redirect and you should find it if interested in it.

we are already using the redirector… and it works fine for everyone …except this one user.

When strange stuff like this happens, and changing the selection on the ‘options’ when redirecting, the next thing I do is, bump them back a version (6.0.3). And replace the 6.5 version again. Shouldn’t have to do it. But I try to get their design current. Just doing a refresh won’t cut it.

we are all using the iNotes5 template just now… corporate decision… what do you mean by “changing the selection on the ‘options’ when redirecting”… ?

When using the domino redictory, at least in the version I am using. A blue bar, scrolls across, and says ‘redirecting’. On the top right hand corner, there is an option called ‘personal options’.
Which gives you an option to select webmail, DWA options, and Webmail. You can try changing it from webmail here, to be ‘Default’.

on the design, I didnt want to bump it UP to 6, then back down, that never seems to work as well and I dont have any more R5 templates… like mail5.ntf to change it to/from…

I did have one template I could change her back to… R5custom.ntf from a long time ago… then back to iNotes5… didn’t help.
But… as the redirector was loading on the screen I hit Personal Options… and chose the “Default” views to display and this changed it back to iNotes5 - amazing…

Glad I could help. I guess they figured light gray, that normal users would ignore it, and MIS Types would be able to pick up on it and say hmmm… what does this button do… I just gotta click on it.
And to maybe help with your other problem.
What is your agent problem?
