In earlier incarnations of the Notes client it was possible, from a Wiki link, to selectively open a local copy or a server copy of a database.
For local…
Notes:///folder/database.nsf/hexstring…
For server…
Notes://SERVERNAME/folder/database.nsf/hexstring…
In Notes 8.5 the local copy is always opened if it exists, whichever link is used. I have not been able to find another way of forcing the server copy to be selected by means of a Wiki link.

Subject: Opening Notes DB from Wiki Link (or browser)
After further diagnosis, the database that is opened is whatever was opened last. So if you last opened a local copy, that is what will open again regardless of which syntax your command uses. In Notes 8, this “whatever was opened last” behaviour happened if you referred to the database using a Rep-ID (hex string) instead of a folder/filename construct. In Notes 8.5 it happens whichever syntax you use. This appears (to me) to be a bug.
