Opening Email

I have a strange problem with people opening their email messages.1st case, I did and upgrade from 6.0.5 to 8.0.2, a day after the upgrade the user had a problem, no matter what email he tried to open, it kept opening the same email. If he re-started Notes, it would be fine for a while and started to do the same thing.

I un-installed Notes, kept, the local nsf files, desktop and id. Did a new install and the problem went away.

Now 2nd and 3rd case, both of these were fresh installs, just keeping the files stated above. They are reporting the same problem.

I thought it might be mail file corruption, so I havew tried updall, fixup and compact but no change.

Anyone have any thoughts on this problem or a possible fix?

Subject: Similiar Issue

I am receiving the same issue under similar circumstances with one user and myself.

Yesterday I moved an email I had read, to a folder from the Inbox. I then opened another email in my Inbox and it opened the email I had just moved. All other emails in any folder/view did the same.

I was able to exit the client and upon returning back it, it stopped.

The other user has had this happen multiple times. There are only about 15 out of the hundreds of Notes users we have that have the Standard 802 Client so we may not be seeing this issue occur as much as if more were using the Standard client

Any ideas why this occurring and how to permanently resolve it? TIA
