I am experiencing a weird problem.
I have a form with embedded view.
I open the doc from viewA the embedded view is empty
I open the doc from viewB the embedded view is populated with child docs (correct display)
Why is this happening?
btw, the parent and child docs (in embedded view) are linked by UNID. I checked the parent and the child and they have same ID so they are linked correctly.

Hi,
What I can understand from your explanation is :
If you open the document from ViewA, the document is displaying with blank embedded view. But, if you open the same document from ViewB, the document is displaying the embedded view with correct values in it.
If you have anything mentioned in “show single category” for the embedded view and that value is coming different for document opened from ViewA and document opened from ViewB, then probably you can find the clue to your problem.

the value comes from the same document.
In my embedded view I have show single category as :
DocUniqueID (I use UNID to link documents)
No matter which view you open the doc, the show single category is the same …
The thing is the embedded view works correctly for other documetns (about 50 of them) but not this one. I checked via the another view, opened it up and it displayed correctly.
could this be some sort of LN bug?? I am using 6.0.1 version…

I recreated the the embedded view docs and now the embedded view docs are visible.
There is no clear explanation of why this happend to only 1 document but it is something that happens quite frequently in my experiences with LN.
May be I am no expert but I have see some real weird issues like field names no longer available (anything over 255 fields cannot be referenced from LS but ok from @formula). Went back to previous day backup - then no problems.
