Opening db created with later Notes version

Hi,

I’m developing UI with Lotus Designer 6.5

And what will happen if the user open database with Lotus Notes < 6.5.

If (for example) I used for embedded outline properties (for tree type) “OS Style”, which isnt in Lotus Designer 5 - will user (with Lotus Notes 5) get some errors messages?

When a user opens a 6.5 db with i.e. a 5.0.12 client he gets an error message and will not be able to open the db.

If the the database is on a 6.5 server and client is R5 then he can of course open the database. You may get a “this feature has no been implemented yet” error if using specific design 6.5 design element.
